October Newborns in Need

This national organization, with a local chapter in Bolingbrook, collect and or makes baby gowns, socks, sweats, blankets, and other essential baby items.  Emphasis is on very small, and premature babies. It delivers these needed items to individuals, hospitals, homeless shelters and others.

Humanitarian Service Project Children’s Program

Through personal and company donations, this programs enables children in DuPage County, living at or below the poverty level, to receive gifts at Christmas.

December Childserv

An emergency group home located in Naperville for girls ages 13 through 17 dealing with issues of abuse, abandonment and /or neglect.

January Loaves and Fishes

This is Naperville’s only food pantry which provides basic food and personal items to over 9000 individuals a year.

February Ecumenical Adult Care of Naperville

A senior citizen daycare program for those requiring a supervised environment.  It allows the clients an opportunity to socialize and be involved in organized activities.  Nutritious meals and snacks are provided.

March NCO Youth and Family Services

The mission of NCO is to be an agent for positive change to members of the community by providing counseling, crisis intervention for runaways/lockouts, and short term housing for male teens and you adult males.  It provides substance abuse prevention in the local school districts.

April Families Helping Families

Founded in 1994 by a local resident, this organization assists homeless families or those coming from an abusive situation find shelter and a new way fo life for themselves.

May Naperville Humane Society

A private facility supported by volunteer and community donations which finds homes for hundreds of dogs and cats each year.It is involved in many educational programs including some for children and provides a community hotline for behavior issues regarding pets.
